It seems my fate was cast when I was voted Class Hostess during my Senior Year of High School! Since those formative years, I have been planning, managing, supervising, advising on, and executing events of all kinds. From the first meeting with a potential corporate client about their staff retreat to the moment the bride walks down the aisle, the thrill is the same. Listening to each individual’s unique needs and then being able to pair it with a stellar venue that is supported by the best team in the business – what can I say? Dream job.
Although I thought when I left upstate New York 25+ years ago that I would travel the globe well into old age, I am thrilled that my journey has kept me in this artsy, vibrant and eclectic city! Whether at home with Bobby, our son Beau and 2 ridiculous Boston Terriers, or enjoying live music at a brewery downtown with friends, my heart runneth over with gratitude for this life I’ve been given!

I have a unique knack for making the stressful seem hilarious and bringing a sense of calm and perspective to the event management process. From my background in historic preservation, I learned the value of patience and how each building has its own unique story. That experience is invaluable to my position here at The Barn at Reynolda Village, as I help our clients incorporate their own story into their time with us by being a passionate stickler for details and organization. I also have a heart for turning clients into friends. Some of my past brides are still coming to visit me years later, and I’m proud to know that event industry vendors from all over will tell you I’m awesome!
